Banana Bread
This Banana Bread is perfectly sweet, moist, and full of flavor, and enjoyable plain, with chopped walnuts, or even chocolate chips.
Makes 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- ½ Cup Queen Honey Orange Blossom Honey
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
- ¾ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ½ Cup Quick-Cooking Oats
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Cup Mashed Ripe Banana
- ½ Cup chopped Walnuts or Chocolate Chips (Add only if you wish too)
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 325°F
- Use Crisco to coat a clean mixing bowl
- Use a 9x5x3-inch Loaf Pans, lightly coated with Crisco
- Cream Honey and Butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy
- Add Vanilla to the mixture
- Add eggs to the mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition
- Combine Dry Ingredients in a Small Bowl; add to Honey mixture alternating with the Bananas, blend well
- Stir in walnuts (if you wish too)
- Spoon batter into greased Loaf Pan
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean
- Remove from Loaf Pan and let cool on a wire rack
